For actors in Years 4–6 and Musical Theatre

Our main focus is teenagers — Years 7–13. But two of our offerings welcome a wider age range: our Musical Theatre groups and our long-running groups for younger actors. Both are still taught by working directors. Both are still capped at 16 young actors per group. They’re just not where the main brand sits right now.

Musical Theatre

Musical Theatre, acting-led.

Most musical theatre classes teach singing, dancing and acting in three separate boxes. We don’t. Every song is a scene. Every dance is a moment in a story. The acting is what makes the rest worth watching — so we start with the character, and let the singing and choreography follow.

Younger Actors

YAG started running classes for all ages. Our core focus today is teenagers, but our long-running groups for younger actors continue to run, led by directors who’ve been with us for years.
